Anna Kovalova - Founder & Chief Executive Officer @ Anbosoft

November 15, 2025

Anna’S BIO

by The Ella Project

Anna Kovalova is the co-founder and CEO of Anbosoft (https://www.anbosoft.net), a services company specializing in software testing and quality assurance. She has 15 years of QA leadership across web, mobile, desktop, and embedded systems, and focuses on the fusion of QA and AI. Anna designed an AI-powered QA audit and quality evaluation system used across sectors, publishes practitioner and research pieces on AI and cybersecurity, and has been recognized with Most Influential CEO honors and a recent BrowserStack’s Icons of Quality feature.

WITH GROUPS CREATING PROGRAMS TO ENCOURAGE FEMALES TO CONSIDER STEM, WHAT IS THE BIGGEST BARRIER TO ENTRY THAT IS STILL PREVALENT TODAY?

Stereotypes are still the biggest barrier. When girls hear they do not look like tech people, confidence drops and many never try. I felt that pressure too. My family encouraged a safer academic path and I planned to stay at the university, but I still wanted to test myself in tech. There were few local courses, no clear entry path, and almost no women to learn from. I found the first QA course in my city, studied nights and weekends, and earned my first role.

I encourage girls and women to follow their own path in STEM, ignore the noise about how they should look or what they should study, and back their confidence with skills-based steps like beginner courses, small projects, finding mentors, and applying even without a perfect resume.

WHAT OR WHO INSPIRES YOU?

People who can start from scratch inspire me. I admire those who face hard challenges head on and keep moving no matter how tough the path gets. They show how grit, curiosity, and steady action can change both careers and communities. For example, Melanie Perkins built Canva after many investor rejections, kept iterating on the product, and turned a simple idea into a global platform.

WHAT IS YOUR PROUDEST MOMENT/ACCOMPLISHMENT?

I am proud of my journey and of what we have built at Anbosoft so far. I started the company from scratch, grew it into a trusted testing partner, and designed our AI-powered QA Audit and Quality Evaluation System that turns quality into objective risk maps and prioritized actions.

I am equally proud of the team and culture we built. We operate across industries and platforms, blend human expertise with responsible AI where it truly helps, and help clients ship with confidence. Watching customers move faster with fewer production issues, and seeing our people grow into leaders, is the accomplishment that matters most to me.
